Shorterm are to be working with an Engineering contractor that are currently on the lookout for a Technical Clerk
Key Responsibilities for the job include:
* Deliver a broad range of administrative services
* Obtain supplier quotations, complete material requisitions and ordering.
* Compile delivery dockets and complete GRNs (Goods received Notes)
* Manage sign-in sheets and weekly time sheets for payroll purposes
* Liaise with relevant departments
* Compiling / filing test sheets for handover to clients Commissioning team
* Assist with on-site access and start up procedure for new employees
* Adhoc assistance to all aspects of running an efficient and productive site office
Key Competencies:
* Demonstrate a proactive approach and positive attitude
* Good communication skills - written / verbal
* Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload, flexibility, and drive to finish key activities through to completion.
* Excellent working knowledge MS Office applications is essential
