Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Technical Clerk to join Pembrokeshire County Council’s Building Maintenance Service. You will provide administrative and operational support to a busy service, which covers Responsive Repairs, Pre-Planned Maintenance, Capital and SLA Programs and the mechanical and electrical services to all local authority owned assets and properties. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries and so good customer service and communication skills are essential, the successful candidate will ensure an excellent service is delivered to customers and clients.


As an ideal candidate, you will be educated to GCSE level with experience of working under pressure and to a deadline. You will work independently as well as within a diverse team so need to be capable of working in an organised manner and be flexible when required. You will also be required to have extensive IT and literacy software skills.
