Keen to speak to quality and/or technical professionals with a food manufacturing background who can step into the shoes of the Technical Manager in their absence. This could be a great stepping stone for someone growing in their career.

The Candidate.

• Ideally you will have a food science or relevant degree.
• You will need to have at least 5-10 years’ experience within the quality or technical department within a food manufacturing and/or importer of food products.
• Must have experience in systems, specification, customer reporting, admin and internal and external audits.  
• You should have worked towards BRC V9.
• You will be a go getter with the ability to work alone and alongside a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication is required.
• Must have the right to work in the UK as no sponsorship is being offered.

The Role.

• Completing internal specifications with regular reviews, writing and interpreting specifications including using customer portals.
• Maintain the onsite quality standards and compliance. Ensuring the site is always audit ready.
• Support and lead root cause analysis investigations.
• Respond to customer complaints, customer requests, technical documentation and specs.
• Deputise for the Technical Manager in their absence.
