Job Summary
As a Technical Consultant Intern in our Data Analytics Consulting Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and integration of cutting-edge SAS solutions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to real-world projects and gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic consulting environment.
What You Will Do
- Identify and resolve technical and software issues to ensure the seamless functioning of data analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to define system architecture and contribute to the analysis and implementation of hardware/software specifications.
- Work on implementing, testing, and providing guidance during solution deployments.
- Learn and contribute to the preparation of proposals for data analytics solution deliverables.
- Contribute to technical trainings and support initiatives, covering multiple products and advanced topics.
- Gain a deeper understanding of our products and their applications to support proof of concepts and technical benchmarks.
- Produce clear and detailed project scoping and design documentation for use by technical specialists in building appropriate solutions.
- Communicate effectively, both in written and oral forms, to convey technical information to team members and clients.
- Quickly develop a deep understanding of our data analytics products and dependent technologies.
- Contribute to the completion of scheduled tasks within assigned technical engagements with minimal supervision.
Role skills required:
- Enrollment in a full-time academic program
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in progress in the following related area of study- Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Data Science.
- Strong interest in the field of Data Analytics with a desire to learn and contribute to the consulting team.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies in Data Analytics, such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes
- Basic understanding of Linux system administration and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to convey technical information clear
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Proficiency in machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., Decision Trees, Regression Analysis, Time Series Analysis, Clustering, Association rules, NLP, LLMs, TensorFlow, PyTorch) • Proficiency in Python
- Familiarity with other programming languages and platforms such as R, SAS and/or SQL (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, DB2) or MATLAB would be an asset
