Technical Engineering Estimator required for a precision engineering company based in St Leonards On Sea.

Technical Engineering EstimatorPosition Overview

Accepting and processing customer enquires through MRP system.

• Communication with customer both technical and non-technical.
• Communication with production engineers.
• Extracting information from technical drawings and customer specifications.
• Sourcing supplier quotations and developing new and existing supplier relationships.
• Creating customer quotations.
• Submitting customer quotations.
• Estimating routing times for components.

Technical Engineering EstimatorPosition Requirements

The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working in a small team withing a manufacturing environment.

A knowledge of production engineering would be beneficial, as would experience of working with MRP systems, however training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Technical Engineering EstimatorPosition Remuneration

• Salary is experience dependent and to be discussed likely £25k-£38k (Lower end for someone looking to get into an estimating role)
• 40 hours per week.
• Over time available. Rate is time and a half normal rate. This is paid for hours worked over 40 hours per week.
