SalaryLongstanding St Helens based Accountancy practice are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the Bookkeeping team taking control of a portfolio of varied companies carrying out the Bookkeeping, Payroll, VAT, and regular production of Management accounts all while sticking to relevant deadlines and providing a great all-around service.
The Practice Bookkeeper will have experience using Xero & Sage whilst also having a good knowledge of producing in depth management accounts and payroll.
Practice Bookkeeper Position Overview
- Taking control of a portfolio of clients being the first point of contact
- Preparing And Submitting VAT returns
- Preparing and reviewing bookkeeping
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Weekly, fortnightly & monthly payrolls
- Process auto-enrolment and redeclaration of pensions
Practice Bookkeeper Position Requirements
- Experience within practice
- Experience preparing payroll
- Competent using MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Competent using Xero
- Experience of Iris and Sage software packages would be preferable
Practice Bookkeeper Position Remuneration
- Up to £27,000 per annum DOE
- Monday to Friday - 9:00am - 17:00pm
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Office based role
