Impact are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Technical Support Engineer provide technical assistance and support for an exciting business who are transforming the industry of perimeter protection solutions. The Technical Support Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of our systems, as well as delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (Salary dependant on experience in job roles)

Location: NN6 Northampton (Own transport will be needed)

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Be the primary point of contact for technical enquiries and support requests.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and diagnostic assistance.
• Conduct thorough analysis and root cause identification of technical problems.
• Collaborate with the companies other teams including engineering, product development, and sales.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and commissioning of technical equipment.
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Performance review of remotely monitored CCTV systems.
• To attend sites to carry out small works.

Required Experience:

• Experience in technical support or engineering role, preferably in the field of security systems or industrial automation.
• Strong understanding of electronic systems, network infrastructure, and software applications.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Customer-focused.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for on-site service.
