Technical Inspector

We are proud to be partnering with Housing Association based in the West Midlands, who are looking to appoint a Technical Inspector on a permanent basis.

This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working and a salary of £38,988.08 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, a HNC in a construction related discipline and experience of defect diagnosis within domestic buildings.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting in depth technical building inspections including pre/post inspections and stock condition surveys

• Developing detailed specifications of work based on inspections findings and raising works orders

• Providing technical support for all reactive repairs, maintenance disrepair, complaints, HHSRS and stock improvement works

• Proposing technical solutions and if necessary to assist in complex technical inspections as required

• Coordinating inspections following diagnostic solutions

• Meeting targets set by the business in terms of performance management and KPI’s

• Using diagnostic skills to propose solutions to effectively deal with defects within repairs and maintenance

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing

• A HNC in construction related discipline

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment and management

• Financial management and budgeting

• A HNC in construction related discipline

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
