I am recruiting for 4 Technical leads for a financial services company based in Edinburgh. This is a new and exciting role which will lead a feature team (within a release train) who are responsible for the overall execution and build of complex technical solutions to maintain high standards set by our guilds. You'll develop, and refine technical end to end solutions, using modern engineering practices TDD, DevSecOps, generative AI, and AWS development. You'll also be responsible for ensuring technologies within your feature teams stream run efficiently and remain stable to meet customer needs.
This role involves working in the Edinburgh office OR Gloucester around one day per week, so candidates must work within a commutable distance of either office. Unfortunately, the role does not offer sponsorship.
What you'll bring

• Proven leadership, coaching and mentoring experience with the ability to build, manage and motivate a successful team.
• Proven experience with TDD, DevOps and AWS development.
• Excellent knowledge of Java17, KAFKA, Springboot, iOS / Android / Web, Microservices and Kubernetes
• Dedication to tech innovation and continuous progression.
• Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience or knowledge of delivering services in Retail Banking
• Experience of working in scaled agile settings would be an advantage
