Technical Manager

I am hiring for a Technical Manager
I am working with an industry leading food manufacturer who supplies premium products to a range of the major UK retailers. Reporting into the Factory Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with an exciting team, gain wider exposure, and to make a positive impact.
Key responsibilities:
- Continuously working with all departments towards improving quality and food safety
- To manage the day to day aspects of the site technical team
- Continuous management of supplied materials to ensure they are meeting the business requirements for Quality, Safety and Legality
- Being heavily involved with the NPD team through the factory launches
- To manage all customer needs and expectations by providing accurate product information and specifications
The ideal candidate:
- Proven track record of similar responsibility for a significant period of time, managing the day-to-day activities of a technical team
- Strong retailer experience. Tesco & M&S are essential
- Relevant experience with ambient products
- Self-sufficient, adaptable, and autonomous
