You will be responsible for being the technical lead for food safety and legal compliance, which will entail leading the technical department, driving quality standards, and liaising with both laboratory and farm departments.
This role would suit a Technical Manager with experience of leading a team and working within Food production/FMCG, looking for an excellent long-term career opportunity with scope to develop.
The Role:

• Responsible for the training and development of other staff in food safety
• You will be responsible for legal compliance, overseeing quality technicians, farm liaison and laboratory staff
• Develop and control quality programs, including audits and management of quality assurance operations

The Candidate:

• Will have experience of managing people
• Will be qualified in Food Safety & HACCP Level 3
• Will have experience of working in FMCG, ideally within the BRC (British Retail Consortium)
