Starting salary: £25,000 per annum

Working hrs: Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 16:30, Friday 7:00 - 15:30

Overview:
My client is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join their team as a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities:
- Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper operation
- Monitor machines during operation to detect any malfunctions or issues
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
- Load and unload materials into machines as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine-related problems

Skills:
- Strong materials handling skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to assemble and disassemble machinery as required
- Mechanical knowledge to understand machine components and functions
- Proficiency in CAD software for reading technical drawings
- Familiarity with tooling and the use of hand tools
- Ability to weld and fabricate when necessary
- Basic understanding of logic controllers for machine operation

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
