My client, a Warehousing and Distribution company based in B6, just outside of the clean air zone, Birmingham City Centre, is currently looking for a Technical Product Support Coordinator to join their team.
As a Technical Product Support Coordinator, you will be responsible to own and support portfolio of Hardware products, manage product availability, product quality and product data integrity within the company. You will closely work with Sales & the Inbound department for improving and safeguarding product quality on Hardware/ Ironmongery products.
YOU MUST HAVE IRONMONGERY OR HARDWARE EXPERIENCE.

Key responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Ongoing review to build and enhance product range to gain required market share on Hardware products.
- Support sales department with product technical queries and product quality issues.
- Assist Sales department to close customer complaints related to product quality.
- Addressing the negative feedback on product returns, product quality and liaising with the manufacturer to address quality issues.
- Oversee smooth operation of imports function, ensuring accurate customs declaration is submitted
- Monitor and conduct random inspection of all incoming goods to ensure the product specifications adhere to specifications approved.
- Arrange and compile product data on Company's ERP system.
- Arrange new product listings on company's e-commerce platforms/ marketplaces as required.
- Ensure full compliance with all workplace rules including those pertaining to company's ethical, health and safety and various other policies/ regulations stipulated time to time.
Skills/Experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience of providing Product/Technical Support to customers.
- Hardware or Ironmongery experience essential
