Technical Production Manager - Edinburgh

THE COMPANY

This well established and family feel agency have been working on specialist events for over 3 years and have become specialists in live, virtual, hybrid and digital media! 

As a passionate and successful event production and digital content agency they deliver uncompromising and impressive events, offering bespoke solution to meet their clients' needs and budgets.

They have an  in-house team of designers, all with vast experience in concept & brand design, print, motion graphics, 3D animation, filming and video editing they use the latest in event technology, set design, lighting, sound and video to bring events alive

Following the Covid19 Pandemic, they have used their live events expertise to pivot seamlessly into virtual- utilising the latest technology, they designed and implemented a wide range of solutions for producing live-streamed or pre-recorded content, ready for virtual events.

THE ROLE

As part of their ongoing success there is now the opportunity for a Production Manager to join their team and oversee the delivery of a variety of projects.  Working closely with the internal teams you will take the lead on the larger / most complex projects from start to finish.  The role of Senior Production Manager will cover every aspect of Technical Production, including;

-           Taking the initial brief

-           Creating proposals including providing costings / quotes

-           Advising on the latest technologies and production techniques

-           Briefing internal designers

-           Working closely with in-house creative teams and account managers

-           Overseeing all areas of delivery and ensuring H&S compliance

-           Creating and maintaining production schedules

-           Selecting and managing suppliers

-           Booking and scheduling freelance crew

-           Costing and budget management

-           On site management

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have a natural and genuine passion for technical innovation, an outstanding record of delivering projects internationally, and excellent management and organisational skills. Practical skills in a Technical Production discipline an advantage.
