TECHNICAL SALES ADMINISTRATOR

Reporting to the Office Manager, your will be responsible for: 

• Preparing quotations.
• Calculating pricing for servicing, spare parts and service contracts and reviewing previous quotes to ensure correct pricing, discounts, shipping, payment terms etc.
• Obtaining freight quotes from logistics suppliers.
• Providing a strong understanding of products and their features and benefits.
• Identifying opportunities to upsell and sharing these with the business development team.
• Providing customers with technical guidance and dealing with technical queries.
• Maintaining accurate records on the CRM.
• Updating price lists and master quote templates.

To be successful, you must have the following qualities and experience: 

• Experience in a similar technical/scientific role, ideally with a global customer base.
• Minimum of A-levels in Maths and science related subjects.
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Computer literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office products & experience of Sage 200 and CRM.
• Enthusiastic and proactive work ethic; determined and resilient.
• Able to work alone or as part of a team in a demanding and work-intensive environment.
• Must be confident, flexible and willing to change duties to meet the demands of the company.
