Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a renewable energy installer, who deliver sustainable solutions to the UK’s domestic and commercial market installing solar, heat pump and EV systems and are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer.
The Technical Sales Engineer role comes with a salary of �25,00-�35,000 depending on experience, pension and fantastic company profit share bonus scheme.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Senior Design Engineer you will:
* Follow up on enquiries and carry out initial site surveys.
* Produce initial designs for quotations for an array of renewable energy installations.
* Work from initial quotation to close to handover to the installation team.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Experience in a Technical Sales role, preferably renewables.
* Previous use of solar design software such as Easy PV, SolarEdge and MCS design would be an advantage.
* Experience of presenting proposals to potential clients
* Driving licence and own vehicle
* Living in the Shropshire are and able to commute to Kidderminster.

The Technical Sales role would suit someone who is:

* Comfortable in a sales role.
* A good communicator
* Strong with IT skills.
