SalaryWe are working with a global manufacturing company based in Hampshire who are looking for a new Technical Sales Manager with an Electrical background. The role is to manage their UK customer base with a view to eventually manage their European and Scandinavian customer base also.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain relationships with both existing and potential clients with your sales skills and technical knowledge.
Explore new markets and clients for our products in a designated region.
Travel extensively throughout the UK and parts of Europe to visit existing and new potential clients.
Manage and interpret customer requirements , providing suitable technical solutions in consultation with the client’s technical team.
Collaborate with clients to specify our products and determine optimal solutions for their applications.
Coordinate with head office members to arrange quotations and delivery support.
Provide comprehensive after sales support and services.
Review quotations and sales data.
Prepare reports and marketing information for head office, reporting to the Sales Director.
Co-ordinate and participate in exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and other industry events.
Deliver technical presentations and demonstrate how our products meet the customer’s requirements.
Skills and Experience Required:
Appropriate educational background with a proven track record in Technical Sales of electrical components.
Multilingual abilities would be advantageous.
Proficiency in computer software.
