Polytec are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist ideally with a background in chemistry to join our client based in Saffron Walden. You will need to be located within an easy commutable distance of Saffron Walden for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Support sales teams at visits, conferences and daily operations
- Encourage the generation and nurturing of leads
- Respond to customer sales enquiries
- Exhibit products online and in-person
- Perform equipment installations and customer training
- Maintain accurate records, visit reports, prospect lists and data via CRM platform
- Prepare and deliver sales / training materials (presentations, webinars, demos)
- Assist with sales reports
- Scientific / technical background, ideally in chemistry or chemical engineering
- Experience with laboratory instruments, handling and demonstration
- Technical knowledge in chemical synthesis, process development, work-up and evaporation techniques
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office packages and Salesforce
- Valid driver's license
- Self-motivated and organised with good communication skills
