SalaryWe are seeking a highly motivated *** Technical Sales Support Specialist (Chemistry bias) *** to join our client, a highly regarded business in laboratory instrumentation and sample analyses.
As a subsidiary of a leading global manufacturer, our client has achieved remarkable success, and they are committed to maintaining their growth momentum. With a strong customer focus and a dedicated team, they have set consecutive record turnovers for the past three years, and as they continue to expand, our client is adding a new member to their team to support their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads to support the sales efforts.
- Utilise various marketing platforms, including LinkedIn and Facebook, to promote our client’s products and brand.
- Maintain customer relations management (CRM) database to ensure efficient communication and record-keeping.
- Provide exceptional customer support through telephone and email communication.
- Play an active role in the sales process for selected products in our client’s portfolio.
This opportunity may involve off-site work, including product demonstrations, customer installation support, training, and participation in exhibitions or seminars.
Requirements for the Technical Sales Support Specialist role:
- A-Level qualification (or equivalent) with a strong scientific background is essential.
- Minimum of 12 months of laboratory experience preferred, or a degree in a scientific discipline.
- Possession of a full UK driving license.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Our client offers:
- Salary: Negotiable based on relevant experience and qualifications.
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 09:00 to 17:00, and Friday, 09:00 to 16:00.
- Holiday allowance: 25 days holiday, including Bank Holidays, and the days between Christmas and New Year (offered in addition to the 25-days annual leave entitlement).
