Job Advert: Technical Services Manager (Facilities Management)

Contract: 3-6 months
Rate: £350-£400 per day
Location: Hybrid (with travel to various sites)

About the Role:

Our client, a leading company in the facilities management sector, is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager for a 3-6 month contract role. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the seamless delivery of Technical Services across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage Technical Services across designated facilities, ensuring all operations meet the highest standards of efficiency and safety.
• Manage and arrange PPM's
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities, ensuring minimal disruption to the client's operations.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and on-site teams to ensure clear communication and effective problem-solving.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess the condition of facilities and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the on-site teams, ensuring all technical issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
• Manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring cost-effective service delivery without compromising on quality.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to maintenance activities and site conditions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager in the facilities management sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide on-site teams.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel to various sites as required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
