Technical Solutions Architect, Band 8B

The Equip Solutions Architect will be responsible for aligning the technical and information requirements of the Equip Programme with a wide range of HSC strategic Programme and Projects. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for planning and delivering a strategic plan for ensuring data migration and transition from legacy HSC systems to Equip are carried out in a controlled environment and delivered on time, on budget to meet the needs of the overarching Equip Programme.The Equip Solutions Architect s responsible for leading and managing the delivery of a range of transformational projects. They will ensure that Projects under their responsibility are planned, managed, and delivered effectively and within the resources available. They will provide leadership to the staff in their team and ensure that high standards of productivity, technical excellence and best practice in service management are maintained.The Equip Solutions Architect with responsibility for information and Technical Solutions will take a lead role across the Procurement phase of the Programme which has a multi-million pound budget and will cover a timescale of 4-5 years..

Demonstrate proven programme and project management experience of complex ICT projects and a track record in delivery of these Programmes, Projects or related activities

Demonstrate a track record in successfully managing and delivering critical IT services in a complex organisation

Experience of managing significant IT Programme/Project budgets over £500K
