Technical Supervisor - HVAP

Position Overview:

As the Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day operations of their Data Centre facilities.
Your expertise in engineering and HVAP certification will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of performance, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.


• Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures.

• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, including routine inspections, testing, and repairs.


• Ensure the reliability and availability of critical infrastructure components, such as electrical systems, HVAC, and cooling equipment.

• Serve as a point of contact for emergency situations, providing timely response and resolution to technical issues.


• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of incidents.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and operational metrics.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.


• Implement changes and enhancements to enhance the overall performance and reliability of Data Centre operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.


• HVAP certification (High Voltage Authorized Person) is mandatory.


• Proven experience in Data Centre operations, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.


• Strong technical background in electrical systems, HVAC, cooling systems, and facility infrastructure.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Location: London, United Kingdom

Paying up to 55k, depending on experience.
