Job description

Overall objective and scope:

Our client, a global leader in their market is seeking a Technical Support Advisor to join their high performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Support Advisor with experience in 3D printing and modelling. They will be responsible for responsible for all customer inquiries including (but not limited to) Technical Support, general purchase questions, order fulfilment, education, product training and general problem solving across all various product lines.

Key Duties and responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound emails and calls to ensure complete customer loyalty.
  • Communicate progress, changes, and all issues to customers in a timely manner.
  • Fully understand the workings of the 3D printing machines and associated products to a level suitable enough to support customers in carrying out their own repairs or identifying the need for escalation and on-site visits depending on the product.
  • Own problems and provide solutions.
  • Assist other team members with workload as required.

Personal Specification:

  • 1-2 years handling Technical Support in a high-volume customer facing environment
  • Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of the concept of 3D printing
  • Basic understanding of the concept of 3D modelling
  • Strong computer skills
  • Methodical approach to troubleshooting hardware/software issues
  • Attention to detail.
  • Salesforce experience highly desirable
