Location: Norwich
Cooper Lomaz have partnered with a successful business in Norwich to source a Technical Support Engineer to join their team. This role will see your time split between the office, and home and working directly onsite with their customers. The successful Technical Support Engineer will need to be able to communicate with non-technical-minded customers, providing outstanding customer service both in person and remotely. The role will see you commute to their customer's site based around East Anglia, however, you may be required to commute further from time to time.
The Job:
- Provide remote and in-person IT Support to their clients.
- Update and manage the client's IT systems, and infrastructure, advising them on best possible outcomes and how to maximise their IT requirements.
- Produce and maintain client documentation.
- Translate late technical terminology to non-technical-minded customers.
- Manage the expectations of the clients relating to IT faults, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Provide quick and efficient fixes the first time around.
About you:
- You will hold experience working in IT, ideally with an MSP.
- Have experience working with Windows operating systems, and ideally experience with MacOS.
- Experience troubleshooting Networks, Software, and hardware.
- Proven background in deployment of new equipment, and implementation of new network infrastructure such as Ethernet, routers, Switches and Firewalls.
- Experience with Office 365 and Active Directory.
- Have outstanding customer service, able to manage expectations and able to work in a busy environment.
Due to the nature of the role, we will only be able to consider candidates currently located locally to Norwich and have access to their own transport.
