Job Description: As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for both external customers and internal users, responsible for resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing prompt and effective support to IT queries via various channels, including in-person, phone, email, and portal.
- Performing system installations, upgrades, and maintenance tasks to prevent service disruptions.
- Creating and maintaining documentation, including FAQ materials and training manuals for end-users.
- Managing support requests, documenting issue severity, and utilizing standard procedures to resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborating with internal departments to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional service to customers.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated understanding of cloud technology, preferably with prior experience in a customer-facing role within the cloud or IT industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help customers succeed.
- Genuine enthusiasm for cloud technology and infrastructure, coupled with a commitment to supporting customers in achieving their cloud adoption and business objectives.
- Effective communication skills, both virtual and face-to-face.
- Proficiency in organising and maintaining documentation, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
