Technical Support Engineer
Location: Whitstable
Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP31,000 per year
Hours: Mon - Thurs: 8am - 5pm with 1/2-hour unpaid lunch break. Friday: 8am - 1pm.
Hybrid Role - 2 days office, 3 days WFH - one in four Fridays to work until 4pm in the office

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our well-established clients recruit for a Technical Support Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. Within this role you will be supporting the Customer Service Partners and Area Sales Managers with the selection of products and providing product training to all stakeholders. You will be reporting to the Compliance and Technical Manager.

Responsibilities of the Technical Support Engineer:
· Answering the phone to Technical Enquiries.
· Dealing with technical enquiries that come in over E-mail.
· Managing Technical Support requests
· Supporting Customer Service Partners and Area Sales Managers with product selection.
· Technical support are large quotations as required.
· Maintain and update internal technical library as required.
· Monitor group mailbox
· Work with Product Managers and Compliance and Technical Manager to assist with product training across the business.
· Work with the marketing team to ensure any errors in technical literature are identified and work with them to correct any issues.
· Generate reports as requested.
Requirements of the Technical Support Engineer:
· More than 3 years experience in either Technical Support with safety critical products, or working with passive fire protection products.
· Educated to level 4 or higher in a STEM subject.
· Computer literate in MS Office suit, and ERP systems.
· M&E Engineering Experience.
· Technical experience of HVAC.
