Salary NS6 £24,702 - £25,979 pro rata per annum
We are now recruiting for a Technical Support Officer (Land Charges and Address Management) to join our team. As part of the role, you will provide Land Charges and Address Management (including street naming and numbering) services in accordance with the Council’s Community Plan, legislation, policy and guidance.

The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
• Undertaking the Council’s Local Land Charges and Street Naming and Numbering functions in accordance with agreed procedures and legislation as directed.
• Processing applications for land and property search enquiries within set target times, including validation and inputting of search requests and collation, preparation, and despatch of search response documents as per Law Society guidance.
• Ongoing maintenance of the Council’s Local Land Charges Register
• Ensuring that the correct fees are received for all areas of work, including monthly reconciliation of payments and that any necessary corrective action is undertaken.
• Undertaking annual review of fees and charges for related service provision.
• Undertaking the on-going maintenance of the corporate Local Land and Property Gazetteer
• Developing and maintaining content of the service website.
The successful candidate will have effective communication and customer services skills, will carry out their work with a high level of accuracy, and will work well with a team as well as using their own initiative.
