Job description

Hours: 14.50 hours We are seeking a Technical Tutor to assist with sound postproduction practices at our Farnham campus. You will be working with creative courses in Film, Music, Animation, and other specialist subjects, delivering software and hardware workshops, technical support to our students and staff as well as being responsible for servicing and maintaining the sound provision and environment in line with university requirements.  You will have extensive knowledge and experience working with Avid Pro Tools and Adobe Audition as well as an ability to show or willingness to learn other software packages including Adobe Audition, Logic Pro and Ableton Live.  You can demonstrate Moving Image post-production techniques in audio editing, sound design, foley recording, ADR, dubbing, exporting final deliverables and support music production practices such as multitrack recording, sampling, MIDI, audio processing and mixing.  You will contribute to the health and safety in your area of competence. You will also have excellent communication skills, be a good team worker and be able to demonstrate an aptitude for dealing tactfully with students and staff.
