Job Description
We are looking to recruit an energetic and positive Technical Writer to join our Developer Programme team. The Playtech Developer Programme works with studios building content on the Playtech platform. You will work alongside the product managers, developers, mathematicians, and testers to help guide and explain how games are made and successfully launched at Playtech.
Responsibilities:
- Improve and maintain the existing documentation and website copy that contains description of the processes for other teams, as well as guidelines for developers.
- Document new features as they are added to the Website and prepare communications to the game Studios and other relevant teams on any changes and updates.
- Work with the Team to find process areas that require further documentation.
- Write in-game rules, marketing descriptions, and support docs.
- Proofread the marketing descriptions for other Technical Writers’ teams.
- Adapt games per licensee or regulation requirements when needed.
- Coordinate with translation agencies to localize game content for different languages and with the development team to implement it into the games.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in maintaining and updating websites, including proficiency in navigating and utilizing Confluence for documentation and collaboration purposes.
- Capability to create clear and concise instructions and guidelines tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-organized person with a proactive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English at a native level.
- A university degree is beneficial, but not mandatory.
