Location: Remote (Head office based in Manchester)

Our Global Client known for making well known home alliances are looking for a Technical Writer to support with the instruction book process from start to completion.
The role will suit someone who has worked in the FMCG industry, where you’ve been involved in in analysis electronical products and creating user instruction booklets.
Skills/ Experience required:
• Copywriting skills required.
• Knowledge of InDesign Software is essential.
• Project management skills.
• Attention to detail essential.
• Ability to take ownership and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Accurate and efficient documentation and process management required.
• Organisational skills essential.
Description of the Role
• Writing the user instruction booklet with product sample as reference point.
• Working with legal and technical engineers to ensure latest legislation is implemented and product information is accurate.
• Creating the artwork PDF.
• Co-ordinate projects ensuring times and quality targets are met.
• Manage all documentation for project feasibility and tracking.
• Working closely with product managers to manage updates to existing instruction booklets when needed.
