The Opportunity
Yolk Recruitment is working with an important arms length body of the Welsh Government.
We are supporting them to recruit a Technical Writer to take a user centred approach to breaking down complex topics for specialist audiences with a focus on software documentation.
You will have good experience communicating technical information to non-technical audiences, working with teams to understand and visualize outcomes.
What the Technical Writer will be doing
You will work to understand the end-to-end journeys and transform these into usable documentation for key stakeholders.
- Compare best processes and delivery methods, evaluating outcomes.
- Develop and share key prototypes, explaining their value.
- Regularly review and update content, contributing to Continuous Improvement.
- Identify journey fixes and content improvements.
What the successful Technical Writer will bring to the team
You will have prior experience writing technical documents and transforming complex information into usable reports.
- Demonstrable experience as a Technical Writer.
- Good knowledge of best processes and delivery methods.
- Ability to understand end-to-end journeys and summarise them effectively.
- Continuous Improvement mindset.
