In the role of Technician Demonstrator – Wood Occupations you’ll mostly be based at Brunel House in our Construction department. Your focus will be on supporting teaching staff in running a safe and organised workshop environment for a wide range of learners. You will help to develop the next generation of joiners and carpenters by ensuring all equipment and materials are kept stocked up and well-organised ahead of their lessons, end point assessments and exams. Ideally, you’ll have experience working in a Wood occupation, alongside a relevant Level 2 or higher qualification.
It would also help if you already hold a Forklift Truck licence but, if not, this can be gained once in post. It’s important that you’re able to work flexibly, communicate in accurate spoken English, and be able to demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
