Scale 3: £23,151 - £24,429 per annum (pro rata)
Part-time (0.8FTE - 29.6 hours per week) and fixed term until 31st August 2025.

If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team at Bridgend College as a Performing Arts Technician!
You will play a vital role in providing students with hands-on experience and technical expertise in the behind-the-scenes magic of live productions. From lighting and sound to set construction and special effects, you'll be at the forefront of creating unforgettable experiences for our learners and audiences.
You should have previous experience in technical theatre or production arts, with a strong understanding of stagecraft and theatrical technology. With proficiency in operating lighting, crewing and sound operation, as well as experience with set construction, you will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, lecturers, and external partners. You will need to have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and be committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and creativity. You should have the flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to support student productions and events.
