An opportunity has arisen for the post of Technician, working within our Integrated Equipment and Adaptation Service in Motherwell, to ensure people have access to a range of equipment and adaptations to help them live safely within their own homes and communities.
This role will include delivery, removal, installation, and demonstration of the range of aids and equipment provided to help people with their daily living. You will also undertake equipment maintenance and repair when required and removal of equipment from service users’ homes when no longer required.
We are looking for applicants who have experience working directly with the public, preferably people who have disabilities. You should also be experienced in the use of hand and power tools such as drills, grinders and floor fixings etc, experience of using PAT testing equipment and possess general good DIY skills.
Applicants must hold a current a current driving licence and a qualification or training in a relevant subject is desirable.’
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
