Salary: Up to £39k + Company Car + Benefits
Responsibilities
As a Technology Design Engineer, you will be working within Kier Design Service team, contribute, complete and if necessary, manage a highways Technology Design package across various portfolios.
Your day to day will include:
- Contribute, complete and if necessary manage a full Technology Design package output in line with client requirements against defined governance and assurance frameworks, processes and procedures
- Proactively highlight issues at an early stage, allowing Technology Design and Engineering to recommend timely mitigations to facilitate design that are right first time
- Assisting in the production of intelligent Technology Design solutions and the production of 2D and 3D outputs
- Provide continuous design assurance throughout the design life-cycle
- Provide specialist support for through -life design enhancement such as refit, refurbishment, or increased capability
What are we looking for?
This role of Technology Design Engineer is great for you if:
- Degree or equivalent qualification within a technology engineering discipline e.g., communications, electronic, electrical engineering
- Extensive industry knowledge, experience and understanding essential; specifically relating to Highways Technology Infrastructure, Highways England, Key Stakeholders and associated contract
- Experience and a proven track record of successful service delivery, operational design, and delivery of Highways Technology Infrastructure Projects; with knowledge of operational maintenance, construction and site experience being essential
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel/overnight stays when required
