Job Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Technology Operation Manager to provide crucial support to our technology team. In this role, you will assist the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in coordinating a variety of technology-related tasks, contributing to the management of projects, facilitating global cross-departmental communication, ensuring optimal utilization of technology resources, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Top three priorities:
- Assist in the operational execution of technology strategies and plans set by the CTO, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Assist in preparing and developing high-quality presentations for both internal and external purposes, including conducting tech research to help layout and structure strategic thinking.
- Help manage requests coming to the technology team, for instance to assist in new business activities, to provide tech and process related information, coordinate & facilitate meetings, prepare internal communications, etc
- Support the coordination and management of technology projects, ensuring timely delivery.
- Assist in managing relationships with technology vendors and in the management of third-party software, from sourcing to usage. Create, manage, log and track technology resources, including software, hardware, and other tools (priority Generative AI).
- Lead establishment of various operational governance around technology management.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between the technology department and other divisions within the organization.
- Engage in client-facing and new business activities, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients/new biz teams, understanding their needs, and ensuring their technology requirements are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements, suggesting improvements to our systems and processes as applicable.
- Provide basic technical support and training to staff, helping them utilize available technology tools effectively.
- Assist in ensuring adherence to all relevant technology-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Contribute to the documentation and reporting of technology projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Up to 5 year of experience in a technology or operationally related role, or relevant experience.
- Project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in various related technology platforms and tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Experience with creating and editing presentations, and conducting research to support strategic thinking.
- Familiarity with various project management tools and software.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and remote working environment.
