Job description

Organon is recruiting for a Technology Team Analyst to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and performing Calibration & maintenance activities for the Stability Unit and Quality organisation laboratories at Cramlington. This may also include qualification, compliance support activities, equipment sourcing & validation work, contribution to laboratory deviations and technical troubleshooting.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for validation activities for laboratory equipment. Support for site testing validation commitments & ensure site SDLC & Change Control procedures & policies are followed.
  • Ownership of equipment validation activities as they pertain to those areas within the scope of this role & ensure site SDLC & Change Control procedures & policies are followed in all cases.
  • Ownership of testing validation commitments.
  • Lead and develop strategies for equipment and technology validation activities on site, provide technical assistance with the preparation of validation protocols and oversee complex equipment validation.
  • Provide support to laboratory personnel with regards to issues with laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure new and existing equipment is suitable to support methodology within the laboratories.
  • All calibration & maintenance activities are executed in accordance with local expectations and comply to all guideline and local procedural requirements. Perform troubleshooting support as required. Liaise with contractors to ensure safety & GMP training is completed appropriately.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in an equipment support function.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proven ability to organise, plan, achieve goals, make decisions and prioritise.
  • Ability to multi-task with ongoing projects to support laboratory testing functions, strengthen analytical compliance & ensure all laboratory test times & schedules are adhered to.
  • Proven technical communication and influencing skills.
  • Proven Project Management skills in a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge & improve laboratory systems to strengthen compliance posture & enhance the effectiveness of the business.
