Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Telehandler Operator to work on a long-term contract with our client, a leading construction company based in Sunderland. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a telehandler to assist with various construction tasks on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a telehandler to move materials and equipment around the construction site safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on-site.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the construction team to coordinate tasks and activities.
Requirements:
- Valid NPORS or CPCS Telehandler license is essential.
- Previous experience operating a telehandler in a construction environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Willingness to undergo a recent medical examination or be willing to undertake one.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, with overtime available on weekends as required.
