We have a new long-term Reception role for a leading US Hedge fund based in a beautiful office in Mayfair. This role is four days a week and office-based, Monday through Thursday.
Starting ASAP, looking for around two years FOH experience.
This is a fantastic role at a prestigious Hedge fund. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting all the guests in the office and being an ambassador for this company. The role has varied reception duties and is a superb position to gain experience within a global Hedge fund.
Job Description
The Receptionist will be responsible for the following:
- Answering phones, taking detailed messages and directing calls
- Meeting and greeting external guests
- Management and daily set up of conference room suite for meetings, including connecting international video conference equipment and dialing into conference call bridge line
- Providing adhoc and back-up support to administrative and facilities teams
- Assisting with office events
- Ordering, organizing, and managing the stock levels all office and kitchen supplies
- Supporting in the coordination of lunch orders for the office
Requirements
- Minimum two years of Front house/Reception experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently
- Exceptional work ethic, interpersonal, teamwork, time management and follow-up skills
- Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a high-volume environment
- Effective interpersonal, organizational and follow-up skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
