We are in search of a versatile School Chef of any level to join our team on a temporary basis in the London area. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about preparing nutritious and enjoyable meals for students. Day to Day of the Role:- Plan and execute a variety of meals that cater to the tastes and dietary needs of students.
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking is compliant with health and safety standards.
- Efficiently manage kitchen stock and place orders for supplies as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen workspace.
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement menu plans.
- Interact with students to gather feedback on meals and promote healthy eating habits.
- Experience in a culinary role, with previous experience in a school setting being beneficial but not essential.
- Knowledgeable about nutrition and dietary requirements, especially for children.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Capable of working well independently and within a team environment.
- Possession of a current food hygiene certificate.
- A genuine passion for cooking and a dedication to delivering quality meals to students.
