Template Processor

Howdens Joinery are looking for Template Processors to join us at our specialist solid surfaces production site based in Holme Upon Spalding Moor in East Yorkshire. As a FTSE100 business that is undergoing an exciting period of growth, this role offers you a unique opportunity to be part of our factory operation producing and manufacturing bespoke stone worktops for our customers.
Shift Patterns available: Mon - Fri, 40 hours/week (Please advise your preferred shift)
Day: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Evening: 1:30pm - 10.00pm

What you'll be doing:
Reporting to the Technical Group Leader, you will be responsible for transferring templates for high quality worktops into accurate technical drawings using industry specific CAD software so that our 24/7 production team can produce our kitchen worktops. In your role as a CAD Technician, you will also process templates for the automated production line, and liaise with sub-contractors and main contractors on site.
What you will need:
AutoCAD or similar experience is desirable with knowledge of solid surface manufacturing.

Experience of document management systems and version control
Key attention to detail along with good numerical skills
Communicates positively with colleagues and can build effective relationships.
Shows initiative and displays an innovative approach to problem solving.
Demonstrates a positive attitude and is proactive in trying to improve health & safety in own area of responsibility.
