Temporary Accounts Receivable Manager

We are thrilled to represent this terrific client who is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to take on this crucial, hands-on assignment. The successful applicant will combine exceptional financial acumen and a passion for building effective working relationships, with both internal and external customers whilst managing the Finance department.

A fast paced and varied role, this interesting business is looking for an Accounts Receivable expert to manage their ledger, along with all the compulsory reporting. This post will require a candidate who loves to work to challenging targets, who can utilise Excel to an advanced standard, and who can drive change across the department to improve overall productivity.

Please note, this is an ongoing, temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. The hours are full-time and as they require a candidate to start immediately, those with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

Your duties will include:

• Managing the Accounts Receivable ledger and ensuring KPIs are exceeded both nationally and internationally
• Streamlining processes and implementing change to ensure improved efficiency
• Monitoring payments, balances, and overdue accounts
• Reviewing potential issues and resolving professionally
• Reporting on all ledger activity
• Managing a team of credit controllers proactively, including performance and appraisals

• Proven experience within credit control and Accounts Receivable this is key
• Dedicated management exposure you will lead a team
• Able to improve current processes and manage change bringing staff along with you
• Advanced Excel user, with pivots and lookups being essential clear and coherent reporting is an important part of the role
• CICM membership (ideally)
• Experience of SAP and SAGE (ideally)
