Salary This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a talent management agency which represents individuals working within the fashion industry. Based out of their trendy office in Clerkenwell, the company is looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper who is able to work part-time (2 days a week).
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
~ Prepare, send, and file sales and purchase invoices
~ Reconcile monthly financial statements for Company bank accounts and credit cards (GBP, EURO, USD)
~ Reconcile, prepare and send monthly financial statements for all represented Artists
~ Accounts Payable: paying suppliers and service providers
~ Accounts Receivable: chasing clients for payment and logging sales invoices
~ Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
~ Prepare and file all receipts pertaining to artist assignments ie fashion shows, shoots, personal appearances, consultancies (Job Wraps) following the Agency internal processing systems
~ Handle vendor forms for new clients
~ Ensure the Agency CRM database is up to date with Client Information
~ Prepare VAT returns and ensure Xero is up to date with all Agency Financial Documents
~ Prepare weekly debtor/creditor reports
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:
~ At least 2-3 years’ experience of double entry accounting systems
~ Excellent knowledge and experience of Excel
~ Excellent knowledge and experience of Xero
~ Excellent knowledge and experience of Google Drive and Google Suite/Workspace Operating Systems
~ Excellent knowledge and experience of Apple Mac Operating Systems
~ Excellent data entry skills with the ability to identify numerical errors
~ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all represented artists, clients, suppliers and service providers
~ Excellent time management skills
~Excellent problem solving skills
~ Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate good organisational skills, meet tight deadlines and prioritise work load
~ Ability to work using own initiative and within a team
~ Must be an enthusiastic, committed, confident and ambitious individual willing to support colleagues
~ Must be a self-motivated individual and able to work from own initiative as well as part of a team
~ Experience of AP/AR
~ Experience in a similar industry will also be beneficial, but not necessary.
