Salary: £14-£16 per hour

Are you who we're looking for?
We are seeking a Temporary PVG Chef/Cook with the following attributes:

• Mandatory PVG Certification: A valid PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) certification is essential. If you don't have one or need an update, don't worry – we cover the cost! HRC Recruitment will cover the cost of updating your PVG.
• Culinary Experience: Previous experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in healthcare or social care settings.
• Creativity: A flair for creating appetising and wholesome meals.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication to collaborate with the care team.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of temporary meal preparation.
• Passion for Care: A commitment to providing nourishing meals for a positive impact on resident's lives.

What does the day to day look like?
As a Temporary PVG Chef/Cook, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Culinary Excellence: Preparing and cooking meals that meet dietary requirements and safety standards.
• Collaborative Work: Working closely with care staff to ensure resident's dietary needs are met.
• Safety Protocols: Adhering to established food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of food preparation and minimising wastage.
• Team Collaboration: Participating in team meetings to discuss temporary meal plans and requirements.
• Career Growth: Opportunities for career advancement and skill development within the culinary field.
