Summary
Responsible for managing all temporary labour solutions used to deliver operational activities to fulfill the company’s contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and management of the temporary labour workforce.
Cross reference temporary worker provided timesheets to ensure that they are correct and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
Ensure any relevant payments and deductions are actioned i.e PPE/PNC’s.
Liaise with current temporary labour suppliers regarding future temporary labour resource needs, collaborating internally with various departments.
Investigate any misconduct from temporary workers with the provider.
Assess and action any feedback regarding temporary workers with the provider.
Be the point of contact for any queries of issues from temporary labour providers.
Sourcing new temporary labour suppliers to be part of the company’s supply chain.
Check compliance of Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) between the temporary labour suppliers and Highway Traffic Management.
Maintain and update SLA/rates spreadsheets.
Check and maintain the compliance of the resource from temporary labour providers in regards to; ensuring up to date inductions, up to date qualifications, right to work documentation, driving capabilities and endorsements, recent drug and alcohol tests, surety of PPE when working, understanding of company policies and expectations.
Keep any processes and forms up to date that are relevant to your role.
Auditing of temporary workers to ensure IR35 Compliance.
Check Employment Status for Tax (CEST) determinations.
Conduct applicable audits.
Complete process reviews.
Follow any reasonable request from Management.
Skills & Experience:
Experience and understanding of legislation and policies relating to temporary labour resourcing
Confidence in liaising with a variety of stakeholders
Ability to work autonomously, working under pressure and to deadlines
Drive to innovate and deliver solutions
