What you will be doing: As a Temporary Works Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the production of Temporary Works Design in compliance with business management systems and CDM regulations. You will be part of a team providing design and design checking services for various Temporary Works, including excavations, working platforms, formwork, falsework, and scaffolding. Your role will involve offering alternative solutions, value engineering, and problem resolution, ensuring all designs meet specifications and regulatory standards.
- Responsible for Temporary Works Design production
- Ensure compliance with business management systems and CDM regulations
- Provide design and design checking services for a range of Temporary Works
- Offer alternative solutions, value engineering, and buildability insights
- Resolve specification compliance issues and defects
- Produce design deliverables for Temporary Works projects
- Assist in tender processes and subcontractor appointments
- Coordinate subcontractor designs ensuring compliance and quality
- Ensure high standards of health and safety in design and implementation
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all design activities
