What you will be doing: As a Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing Temporary Works Design in compliance with Business Management Systems (BMS) and CDM regulations. You will provide design and design checking services for a full range of Temporary Works, including excavations, working platforms, formwork, falsework, and scaffolding. Additionally, you will engage in value engineering, buildability assessments, and problem/defect resolution, ensuring specification compliance and enhancing project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design production for various Temporary Works.
- Input into tenders and subcontractor appointments.
- Coordination and management of subcontractor designs.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and design risk management.
- Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and procedures.
- Produce and check Temporary Works Designs.
- Participate in tender processes and appoint subcontractors.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractor design processes.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and manage design risks.
