Tenancy Officer

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Tenancy Officer on a temporary 12-week contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £21 via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have an Enhanced DBS certificate within 3 years, drive and have access to their own vehicle, and have proven experience of Tenancy Officer duties.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Providing a high quality, proactive administrative support to the Housing and Property Team; proactively delivering excellent responsive customer service to residents, focusing on their needs and expectations

Delivering an efficient and professional Customer Service to residents, colleagues and external customers

Effectively handling face-to-face and phone enquiries from customers

Log instances of anti-social behaviour and signpost these to the relevant teams

Providing advice and guidance to residents, leaseholders and other occupiers on matters relating to the tenancy, how to pay rent, welfare entitlements and tenants’ rights

Ensuring residents are aware of their responsibilities and our expectations under the tenancy agreement

Issuing of rent statements, payments cards, direct debit/standing order mandates to enable residents to pay their rent and service charges on time every time, promoting a payment culture

Experience required:

Experience required in Social Housing

Experience working with vulnerable tenants within housing

Working hours:

35 hours per week

Monday – Friday, 8:30 am-5:30pm
