Tendering Engineer

We have a great opportunity for a Tendering Engineer to join our client, a well-established engineering manufacturer in Leeds. This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday with some flexibility on working hours.

In this role, you'll collaborate with the Retrofit Sales team to understand customer needs, manage the preparation of rotating equipment tenders, and oversee technical and commercial proposals. Attend client meetings to discuss projects and ensure timely completion by coordinating with various departments.

To excel, ideally, you'll have an HNC in mechanical engineering, experience in complex tenders and contract negotiation, and proficiency in computing and SAP. A solid understanding of pump machinery, assembly, and manufacturing processes is desirable. Effective communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, good grammar, technical report writing skills, and adaptability to change are crucial.
