About the Role
Uber Eats is looking for a passionate Account Management Leader to lead a team of account managers as well as manage our top local favourite SMB & Mid-Market brands to grow the Uber Eats Everywhere portfolio.
Territory Account Management Lead, Uber Eats Everywhere
This role sits within the North & South Territory team and is responsible for the growth and experience of our small and medium sized restaurant partners, helping them to flourish on our marketplace with an unbeatable experience. This is a people-management role, leading 3-4 account managers and there will be no shortage of challenges and opportunities to throw yourself into.
We're looking for someone who is a strong commercial leader who can inspire and empower teams to achieve aggressive growth goals; able to solve challenging problems; customer focused and understand how to deliver executional excellence across a large customer base. This person will work very closely with the Territory Ops Manager to define the strategy of the markets and Territory Sales team to help win local favourite restaurants.
What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points- What the Candidate Will Do -
  • Manage and coach your team of account managers to grow their portfolio of SMB restaurants
  • Manage a small portfolio of strategic local restaurant partners (e.g. local favorite SMB & Mid-Market brands), identify restaurant partnerships at risk through core metric analysis and build recommendations on how to prevent restaurant churn
  • Generate increased demand onto the app by working with Marketing and Consumer Ops to improve our brand strength and customer funnel, from more top-of-mind awareness, to increased conversion on purchase decisions
  • Identify and unlock opportunities for business growth using levers such as Delivery-only Kitchens, Uber One (our membership product), and other yet to-be discovered opportunities
  • Foster a hyper-local culture where you and your team of account managers builds an intricate understanding of their local market, in order to build the best offering for our customers. Understand local cuisines and demographics, and know the intricacies of the city in order to build strong operations
  • Nail the core experience by creating a balanced and healthy marketplace, matching up courier supply with customer demand, and ensuring our customers receive the best experience every time
  • Identify gaps in our current processes and build tools to maximise your impact
- Basic Qualifications -
  • Experience in Account Management within a high growth environment. Experience of managing a team is advantageous.
  • Commercial, operational and analytical skills to deliver against business goals and complex problems
  • Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to build win-win partnerships
  • Collaborative approach, able to motivate change and influence cross-functionally
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Experience in technology or restaurant industry preferred
